Duke has been in the hunt for a point guard in the 2017 recruiting cycle and it got one after a recent campus visit. He just wasn't the point guard Blue Devils fans were hoping for in five-star point guard Trevon Duval. However, he should still give them depth and really shouldn't hurt the recruitment of Duval in the end.

The Norcross, Ga. native is currently unranked by ESPN, but did have several other major offers from Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Butler and Oregon State among a few others. the 6'2", 170-pound guard likely won't play right away, but could become a starter at some point in his likely four years at the school. He makes the fourth commit in the class for Duke and joins a backcourt with five-star shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. and four-star shooting guard Alex O'Connnell as well as five-star forward Wendell Carter.
