Dickie V has a surprise team winning the ACC this season

This is a pretty sensible pick.

Dickie V recently gave us his top five schools featuring Arizona, Michigan State, Kentucky, Kansas and Louisville. While the Cardinals were a bit of a surprise addition to the list, they did bring in a top-10 recruiting class and bring back some good talent in V.J. King, Quentin Snider, Anas Mahmoud and Deng Adel. Those guys with the two 5-star and three 4-star recruits added to the team has Vitale feeling confident in the 2017-18 iteration of the team.

Louisville might be bringing in a great class, but Duke is bringing in a top-2 class and keeping guys like Grayson Allen, Marques Bolden and Javin DeLaurier. They've also brought in three 5-star recruits to go with two 4-stars and a 3-star for the class. Most people have the Blue Devils as the top team in the conference, but sticking Louisville there isn't a bad call either. They're going to be good on defense again —- as many Rick Pitino-coached teams are —- but where the offense comes from is going to be the big question mark for this team.
