Dick Vitale is one of the biggest supporters of college basketball this world has ever known and he will continue to be that guy. However, he is not very happy with the NCAA after they did absolutely nothing to North Carolina despite three notices of allegations and three years of pain-staking research into the academic scandal that went on from 2002 to 2011.

He made his feelings known in a series of tweets:
UNREAL @NCAA reports that @GoHeels athletes most likely took phony classes but can’t conclude that there were any violations.Embarrassing

The @NCAA actions never fails to amaze me / when will they just do something that I can scream / that is fantastic .

Just curious / If on the @NCAA report the name said @GoCards Louisville that the results would be the same ? I think NOT

Vitale will likely be harping on this all season long as he calls games for ESPN and he should because it's absolutely ludicrous the NCAA handed down no punishment at all. It essentially boiled down to the fact that the classes were provided to all students and not just student-athletes so it falls under the school's jurisdiction rather than the NCAA's.
