Down goes another No. 1 seed!

Three top seeds are out now!

Virginia had already seen Syracuse once this season so the Cavaliers should have been ready for the 2-3 zone that the Orange run. That was most certainly not the case on Sunday night when 10-seed Syracuse went on a ridiculous 25-4 run in the second half to win 68-62.

After Jim Boeheim and Syracuse went through their sanctions last year not many people thought they would recover so quickly, but they tore through the NCAA Tournament this year. Most people didn't think that they deserved to be in the field, but they are changing that perception very quickly with this win over No. 1 seed Virginia.

Malachi Richardson led all scorers with 23 points with three other guys scoring in double figures. Malcolm Brogdon had 12 points, but it took him 14 shots to get there. London Perrantes had 18 points for the Cavaliers, but only one assist for the game. That really tells the story about how the flow of the game was just not in UVA's favor tonight.

Syracuse will head on to face the winner of the UNC-Notre Dame game in the Final Four in Houston next weekend.
