ESPN's Dan Dakich says he's 'going to be surprised' if one team doesn't go undefeated

Of course it's Dan Dakich.

There are some exceptional teams in college basketball this year including Duke, Florida, North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky and many others. However, only a select few are still undefeated at this point and that includes the Blue Devils thanks to some heroics from Grayson Allen in some games, Marvin Bagley in others and what seems to be a whole lot of luck right now.

Having said that, there is one ESPN analyst who believes that the Blue Devils can stay lucky or find some more skill and win every game left on the schedule.

Duke will have to run the gauntlet of the ACC as usual and there should be some stiff competition again this year. North Carolina will provide a tough challenge twice this year as is tradition, but will only have to face a stout Virginia defense once, a good Miami team once, what should be a solid Florida State team once and a top tier Notre Dame team once. It's certainly possible, but some luck will definitely have to be involved as Duke can afford no injuries through the season.

The Blue Devils have a solid mix of young talent with several five-star freshmen contributing, but also have the calming presence of senior Grayson Allen to get them through tight games. At the very least, they will be a fun watch even if they don't win every game this season.
