Brian Bowen is a 6'7", 190-pound small forward in the class of 2017 and one of the last remaining uncommitted five-stars in it. He spoke to Scout about a timeline on when he will commit as he's one the few holdouts in the class and needs to find a new school soon as he will be up there over the summer for classes soon enough.

The La Lumiere School (Indiana) standout said that next month is when he plans on making the decision and had this to say when asked how the recruiting process was going:
"It's going really good. I feel like I've handled it really well and in April I'm definitely going to make my decision, I'm not sure what day or not but I just took my time with it really. It's the biggest decision I've ever made in my life coming up so you know I really wanted to take my time getting to know coaching staffs and everything and go from there."
His top five schools right now are Creighton, Arizona, N.C. State, Texas and Michigan State. Bowen is ranked as the No. 12 recruit overall in the country and the No. 3 small forward as well as the top recruit in Indiana by ESPN. He also had offers from Florida State, UCLA, Indiana, Kansas and Michigan among others.
