P.J. Washington is the No. 16 recruit in ESPN's recruiting rankings and there are tons of schools hoping to sign him like the five on his visit list as well as Alabama, Memphis, Florida, Michigan and Michigan State. The 6'9", 225-pound forward out of Memphis plays for Findlay Prep in Nevada, but has been playing for Team Penny in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League this summer.

Washington is averaging 17.1 points, 10.9 rebounds and is shooting 61.9 percent heading into the finals of the league at the Nike Peach Jam. After the Memorial Day Weekend session he talked about which schools he is interested in and which ones he is going to take visits to in the coming months.
When asked about which schools he would want to take official visits to he said "North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas, Arizona and probably Oregon" were going to be his five schools of choice. He said that he would take the visits during his school year after he sat down with his family and figured out the visits.
UNC might have an in though as Washington grew up watching a classic Tar Heel team. When asked about what it would mean to play for coach Roy Williams, he had nothing but great things to say.
"It would be amazing man. I've been looking up to North Carolina ever since I was little. With Tyler Hansbrough and Ty Lawson, they were unstoppable back then."
If he gets a look at all the history at Chapel Hill then the Tar Heels might have just secured themselves a top notch power forward.
