Five-star small forward Jaylen Hoard had several big offers from the likes of California, Kansas, Oklahoma State and Washington among others. However, he’s just decided to shut down his recruitment and stay in-state with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons:

The 6-foot-8, 195-pound forward from High Point, N.C. is originally from France, but came over to the United States last year and has been living in North Carolina. He did not have an offer from North Carolina or Duke, but as a five-star recruit in their state you can believe an offer was on the way if he hadn’t committed so early.
