Five-star small forward Joey Baker is in the class of 2019 so he doesn’t have to make his college decision for some time. That’s not stopping him from wanting to get some visits in early and there’s one particular school the wing man wants to see in Louisville. His AAU coach Fred Cannon told 247Sports that the Cardinals are one of the next teams he wants to see.

“He definitely wants to come visit Louisville it’s just a matter of getting it scheduled,” said Cannon. “He’s definitely intrigued about Louisville. He definitely wants to visit Louisville in September.”

“They’ve been all-in on Joey since April,” said Cannon. “Coach Pitino, Coach Fair, Coach Johnson all those guys have been adamant what they can do for Joey and how great a fit it would be. Joey is very receptive to it and has taken notice of the attention they’ve shown.”

The 6’7″, 195-pound small forward is ranked as the No. 16 overall recruit and No. 4 small forward in the class according to ESPN. Louisville, UCLA, Kansas, South Carolina, N.C. State and Florida are the teams most involved with Baker according to 247Sports. He also has offers from Texas, St. John’s and Tennessee among others.
