Indiana's top basketball player in Kris Wilkes had a pretty big initial list of schools, but has since narrowed it down to five. The No. 11 player in the class of 2017 —- according to ESPN —- has some interesting choices for schools with Indiana, Xavier, UConn, UCLA and Illinois making his final cut.

The 6'7", 194-pound forward plays for North Central High School in Indiana and could be the Hoosiers' best chance at nabbing a top 25 class. The cut dropped North Carolina, Ohio State, Washington, Arizona, Butler and Michigan out of contention from his previous list. Greg Wilkes, Kris' father, says that UCLA is the only scheduled official visit on the list.
