Former Kentucky star finally cracks NBA roster

I was beginning to wonder what happened to him.

Some Kentucky fans might be wondering where Andrew Harrison has been the last year after getting drafted in the 2015 NBA Draft. Well, he got traded to the Memphis Grizzlies on draft night and has been playing for the Iowa Energy in the D-League. There, he averaged 18.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists while shooting 43.7 percent from the floor.

According to The Vertical, Harrison and the Grizzlies have come to an agreement on a three-year deal that's worth $3 million. The third year of the contract is not fully guaranteed. Harrison made dramatic strides with the Energy and the Grizzlies were impressed enough to give him an NBA roster spot.

Aaron Harrison is currently a guard for the Charlotte Hornets and got some run with them last season. He appeared in 21 games averaging 4.4 minutes a game.
