One team just lost their top rated recruit after being released from Letter of Intent

This is a shocker.

According to Evan Daniels of Scout, four-star forward Jamarko Pickett (6-foot-7, 215 pounds, Woodstock, Va.) has been released from his Ole Miss Letter of Intent, and he is officially back on the recruiting market.

Pickett was Ole Miss's highest rated recruit for the 2017 class, and the Rebels are now left with just two recruits for the class. This is the second recruit that Ole Miss has lost this year, as three-star guard Parker Stewart was released a few months ago. Stewart has since committed to Pittsburgh.

It's unclear wear Pickett will end up at this point, as not many schools were chasing him when he committed to Ole Miss. However, interest is sure to ramp up with him back on the market.

Pickett is rated as a four-star and as a Top 100 overall recruit of the 2017 class by 247Sports.
