Kansas downs Oklahoma in the best game of the year on questionable no-call

No. 1 Kansas (13-1, 2-0) downed previously undefeated No. 2 Oklahoma (12-1, 1-1) 109-106 in an instant classic triple-overtime thriller. However, they might have been able to seal the deal thanks to bad officiating and a no-call on this inbounds pass. With Kansas only leading 107-106, Oklahoma tried to inbound the ball from the sideline, but Frank Mason was not having it.

This is bad officiating because the ref should have stopped the inbound and told Mason to back up and give the guy throwing the ball in more space. He failed to do that and that's why Mason was able to get his hand on the ball and steal the pass. He was fouled and made both of his free throws to ice the game.

Buddy Hield for Oklahoma finished with an incredible 46 points on 23 shot attempts in 54 out of a possible 55 minutes. Perry Ellis had 27 for Kansas, Frank Mason had 15, Wayne Selden had 21, and Devonte' Graham had 20 to help the Jayhawks get a crucial win in the Big 12.
