The Kansas frontcourt was already a weakness for the Jayhawks heading into this season and now it seems the situation might have gotten worse. Kansas just lost star center Udoka Azubuike for the season because of a left wrist injury.

Azubuike tore ligaments in his wrist during Tuesday's practice and will require surgery in the next few weeks. The 7-footer, who had started Kansas' last six games, was averaging 5.0 points and 4.4 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game this season. His 18 blocked shots currently lead the team.
The center spot will be left to Carlton Bragg, Landen Lucas and Dwight Coleby for the rest of the season and it looks like Kansas will likely implement a four-guard offense, which has worked well so far this season.
