Kentucky buckles down on defense to take care of Bulldogs

The Wildcats put the Dawgs back in the pound!

No. 22 Kentucky (18-6, 8-3) thrashed Georgia (13-9, 6-5) 82-48 and only allowed the Bulldogs to make 11 shots all night. Yes, that number was only 11 for an entire 40 minutes of play. You can definitely say the defense was up to the task on Tuesday night as it also forced 15 turnovers.

Derek Willis had 11 points and six boards on the night along with Tyler Ulis' 14 points, eight assists and three steals. Jamal Murray was the leading scorer of the game with 24 points with 18 of them coming on shots beyond the arc. Everyone on the bench came in for the Wildcats and saw some minutes in the blowout as well.
