Kentucky gets its first confirmed visitor for Big Blue Madness

That's good to know.

Kentucky's Big Blue Madness will take place the weekend of Oct. 13 and it looks like one five-star recruit will be there for his official visit. Steve Clark of 247Sports found out from the father of five-star point guard Darius Garland that he will be there for Big Blue Madness. This is the first confirmed visit along with 2020 five-star recruit Jalen Johnson.

Garland recently revealed his top six schools last month and Kentucky was on it of course. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound guard is ranked as the No. 8 overall recruit in the country for the class of 2018 and the No. 2 player at his position according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

His other top five schools include Kansas, Duke, Vanderbilt, UCLA and Indiana. The Tennessee native also holds offers from Louisville, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Tennessee among others.
