Kentucky freshman sets new school record in season-opening win

Now that's a good start to the season.

You might be surprised to find out that the holder of Kentucky's assist record for a debut is not John Wall, Brandon Knight or Eric Bledsoe. The 39-year old record belonged to Kyle Macy until Kentucky's 87-64 win against Stephen F. Austin to open up the season.

Now the record belongs to De'Aaron Fox who finished with 12 assists, 12 points and three steals on the night. Here was his record-breaking assist and it was pretty fancy.

Derek Willis finished with 15 points, five boards and three blocks while Malik Monk finished with 10 points, Isaiah Briscoe had 17 and Wenyen Gabriel had 10.
