No. 20 Kentucky (17-6, 7-3) hosted its hated rival Florida (15-8, 6-4) on Saturday and came out with an 80-61 win. Jamal Murray exploded for 35 points hitting eight of his 10 three-point attempts. Tyler Ulis had a double-double with 18 points, 11 assists, and four rebounds while playing all but two minutes. Derek Willis also chipped in 12 points and six rebounds for the win.
Florida's Dorian Finney-Smith had 24 points and eight rebounds while center John Egbunu was the only other Gator to score in double figures with 12 points. Florida shot a pretty bad 39.6 percent and let Kentucky shoot almost 52 percent from the floor, which was the biggest difference in the game along with Kentucky outrebounding UF by nine.
Kentucky next plays on Tuesday against Georgia.
