When Malik Monk spurned hometown Arkansas to go play ball at Kentucky he might have lost a few fans. He may have also gained them all back and then some. He was at the McDonald's All-American festivities on Monday night and won the three-point shootout contest.
He went on a bit of a run near the end on the wing to seal the deal with 21 points.

He can also throw it down too as we found out in practice for the big game.
It looks like Kentucky should be pretty happy about signing this guy to the squad and will have some shooting it could have desperately used this past season.
