Kentucky smashes Vandy at home

No. 23 Kentucky (15-4, 5-2) got hot from the field against Vanderbilt (11-8, 3-4) to get an easy 76-57 win over the Commodores. The Wildcats shot 55 percent from the field and went 27-41 from inside the arc, but only took six free throws all game. That's generally what happens you get some buckets in transition and hit a lot of midrange jumpers.

Tyler Ulis led the way for the Wildcats with 21 points, five assists, three rebounds and a steal. Jamal Murray contributed 18 points and seven boards and had some help from Alex Poythress who had 16 points. The Wildcats next host Missouri on Wednesday night.
