Kentucky will be without a big man for almost two weeks

Kentucky is going to miss his presence.

John Calipari confirmed reports that forward Alex Poythress will miss two weeks because of a knee injury.

He also ended up getting some minor surgery on the knee and missed his second straight game on Tuesday night. He tore the ACL in his left knee and missed most of last season.

Poythress is averaging 10.0 points and 6.6 rebounds per game while shooting almost 60 percent as well for the Wildcats this season.
