Knight made an appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, and Patrick asked him if he would ever go back to Assembly Hall. Knight said no, and he said "I hope there all dead" in reference to the people responsible for his firing.
Knight won national championships in 1976, 1981 and 1987, and his 1976 team was the last men's college basketball team to finish the season undefeated and win the whole thing.
He compiled a 662-239 record at Indiana, but it doesn't look like he will ever return to Assembly Hall due to how the end of his run at Indiana transpired.
