Louisville ends season on sour note with loss to Virginia

This was a tough pill to swallow.

No. 11 Louisville (23-8, 12-6) traveled to Charlottesville to play No. 4 Virginia (24-6, 13-5) and it did not end well for the Cards. They got blown out 68-46 and only Donovan Mitchell scored in double figures with 11 points. It was one of Louisville's worst offensive outing considering it only scored 17 points in the first half and shot 27.6 percent from the field.

Louisville's season is over since it self-imposed a postseason ban and now the Cardinals will have time to do some soul searching over the offseason to hopefully find a consistent offense that won't let it down when needed the most.
