Louisville lands much needed big man in 7-footer Malik Williams

Malik Williams is the No. 3 center in the class of 2017 and he's given his commitment to the Louisville Cardinals. They have a fondness for big men as Montrezl Harrell, Chinanu Onuaku and Mahmoud Anas can attest. He could become a huge defensive weapon for Rick Pitino's squad in the next season with his 7'0", 200-pound frame.

He gave his commitment a couple days ago and he seems pretty excited about it.

Williams also had offers from Maryland, Indiana, UCLA, Xavier and Michigan among many others. The Fort Wayne, Indiana native is the No. 5 recruit in the state of Indiana and No. 32 recruit overall in the class according to 247Sports. While he won't be on the court in Louisville for another year he will keep Cards fans excited because of his athleticism and potential.
