Malik Monk sets crazy new Kentucky record in win over rival

Incredible.

Malik Monk has been one of the best shooters in all of college basketball this season and he proved why with his latest outburst against rival Florida in Rupp Arena. He scored 30 of his 33 points in the second half and that gave him his fourth 30-point game of the season, which sets a new Kentucky freshman record.

Monk also broke a Kentucky record for most points scored in a game with 47 against North Carolina earlier in the season. Efforts like this are why Monk has been staying near the top of NBA mock drafts and big boards. Jamal Murray was the previous record holder of most 30-point games in a season so the record didn't last all that long.
