Marcus Lee will go back to school, just not the one he started at

Kentucky wasn't expecting that.

Kentucky had two guys it was hoping would come back to school in guard Isaiah Briscoe and forward Marcus Lee. They got some good news earlier in the day when Briscoe decided the NBA Draft wasn't quite for him yet and said he will return to be a Wildcat for at least another year.

UK fans thought they were about to get good news until Lee pulled a switcheroo on them. He said he would come back to school, but not back to Kentucky apparently. His plan is to transfer and sit out a year per NCAA transfer rules. It is unknown where he will go, but he will have a lot of work do if he wants to get drafted at some point in the future.

Lee is coming off his best season as a Wildcat, averaging career-highs in points per game (6.4), rebounds per game (6.0) and total blocks (59).
