Trimble had been told by pretty much every team he interviewed with that he needed to go back to school and improve on several fronts. He was going to be a late second-rounder at best and so the decision to come back to school seemed like a no-brainer, but he still deliberated up to the very last minute and made his decision about two hours before the 11:59 deadline on Wednesday.

Trimble averaged 14.8 points, 4.9 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting 41 percent from the floor and 31 percent from beyond the arc last season.
