In the clip above, you see Terry going down the line and telling UCF players, "That's classless. Don't do that s—-." At the time, it wasn't clear what had happened.
After the game, UCF coach Johnny Dawkins commented on the situation.

"Well, that's not the type of program we run, so if I see that, I will be addressing that personally from my standpoint," Dawkins said. "I know Coach Terry, he's a great man. You know, I have a lot of respect for his program. Coach Heath, he and I go way back coaching against each other in the Americans, so, you know, we all about having class as a program, so I'll go back and review what happened and if there's any action that needs to be taken on my end, you know from our staff, I will do that."
So, what happened?
Well, Terry explains that "about six or seven guys" were doing "the horns-down," an insult that references the Longhorns' signature "hook 'em horns" chant and hand signal that fans and players do to celebrate the team.

"About 6 or 7 guys putting the horns down. We don't do that because when you do those kinds of things, it looks very classless," said Terry, who has been with Texas since 2021.
Tyler Feldman of KVUE provided a clip of what happened.

As you can see, UCF players did the "horns-down" following their 77-71 win over the Longhorns.
Fans on X offered their thoughts on the matter.
The Horror!

"The Horror!" one fan sarcastically said.
They beat us in our own house. They get to do it and we deserve it. RT needs to toughen up. This is why this team plays so soft. It’s reflective of him. Beard was hard nose and the team showed it last year.
