NCAA changes NBA Draft rules for players

The NCAA is finally making some strides in the world of college basketball with some new decisions that have been made. It used to be that players had to make their NBA Draft decision before the combine and they had a chance to tryout for a team. Now the NCAA is pushing that date back and changing a couple of other details as well.

Not only will this allow kids to make a more informed decision after the combine, but now they will also get to declare for the draft multiple times and get a tryout with a team before deciding on sticking with the draft or not.

This makes a lot more sense for players. It may frustrate potential recruits and coaches since it will be so late in the recruiting process to find out who they might have to replace though. But the NCAA seems to be doing right by the amateurs it so vehemently claims to be their top priority.
