ESPN Basketball Insider Paul Biancardi is reporting (ESPN Insider required) that newly updated five-star guard Collin Sexton has narrowed down his list of schools to 10. The Mableton, Ga. product has been working his tail off to get his ranking and is enjoying the recruiting process until he makes his final decision which he hopes comes before the start of his high school season.
Sexton's final 10 schools are: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Oklahoma State and Villanova. Biancardi says that Bama's Avery Johnson and Tech's Josh Pastner have been recruiting him the longest with Pastner trying to bring Sexton to Memphis when he was coach there.
Sexton plays at a fast pace and likes to extend his pressure on defense so choosing a school that will allow him to do that is top priority. He can play both guard positions at 6'3", 175 pounds and is a lethal scorer. He can shoot well around the perimeter and can get to the hoop and get to the free throw line while converting at a high rate. Any one of these schools would be lucky to have him.
