Another big boy goes down! No. 12 Ark-Little Rock knocks off Purdue

We've got more drama between a No. 12 and No. 5 seed on the first day of the NCAA Tourney!

I love you, March Madness. Less than two hours after we saw our first major upset of the 2016 NCAA Tournament — No. 12 Yale beating No. 5 Baylor on Thursday afternoon, we had more 5/12 seed drama. No. 12 Little Rock made things quite interesting against No. 5 Purdue. With 17.8 seconds left to go in the second half, Little Rock trailed by three and needed to make some magic happen. They advanced it up the court and with a little over 7 seconds left, guard Josh Hagins released a shot from well beyond the three-point line. Because this is March, it miraculously went in, and tied things up to force overtime.

The game didn't end quitely, either — things were still tied at 75 after the first overtime to keep things going into double OT. Little Rock actually ended up pulling off the upset, beating the Boilermakers 85-83 in double overtime.

Thanks for busting my bracket, Purdue.
