One Duke star reportedly has "decent chance" of returning for another year

This would be huge.

Duke's roster has been devastated by everyone declaring for the NBA Draft and even a couple of transfers recently. There seem to be only two big stars returning for sure in Marques Bolden —- who missed games and a lot of playing time due to injury —- and Frank Jackson. However, it looks like there might be another steadying hand that could keep the squad from becoming a middling ACC team.

Should Allen come back, he would join the previously mentioned players along with Javin DeLaurier who was a four-star forward in the 2016 recruiting class. Duke also has five-star players coming in like Wendell Carter and Gary Trent Jr. who should be able to make an impact right away.
