One NBA legend is already comparing Buddy Hield to Curry and it is way too early for that

That's a bold statement.

Buddy Hield was phenomenal this year for the Oklahoma Sooners averaging 25 points, 5.7 rebounds and two assists over the course of the year. The shooting guard also ha a 50.1 percent shooting average and shot the ball 45.7 percent from beyond the arc. That was good enough to earn him the Oscar Robertson Player of the Year Award, which is handed out to the best shooting guard in the country.

Naturally Robertson had a few things to say about the young man and it looks like he may gone overboard. He is already comparing him to Curry despite the fact he hasn't proven anything in the NBA.

"He has confidence in getting his shot away. I don't think any of these players can guard him. Just like Steph Curry, they can't guard him. They can't guard Buddy, either. Plus he can go inside and he can rebound. It means a lot also other than being a shot, he's a great basketball player."

Hield will likely be selected in the first ten picks of the NBA Draft so he will certainly get his chance to shine. It will be a matter of which team will give him the proper minutes and coaching to develop properly because he will definitely work at it and is willing to learn.
