Preseason AP Poll has Duke, other blue bloods at the top

About what you'd expect.

The AP Poll has officially dropped to start the college basketball season. There are a bunch of blue bloods near the top, which is to be expected. There is one nice surprise in the top 10 as Group of Five school Wichita State is ranked No. 7 to start the season.

Duke received just over half the first-place votes with 33 while Michigan State had 13, Arizona had 18 and Kansas had one. Here are the complete rankings:
