Despite UNC facing five Level-1 infractions from the NCAA, the Tar Heels have extended Roy Williams through the 2019-20 season.
Despite 59 pages worth of those allegations, Roy Williams was only mentioned once and that was in relation to being interviewed for the investigation. This extension is supposed to help with recruiting and give recruits the confidence to commit to the school without worrying if Williams will be back or not.
