Roy Williams plans to stay at UNC at least another five years

Recruits can relax now.

The North Carolina Tar Heels had a pretty great 2015-16 season going 33-7 and making it to the National Championship Game before losing to Villanova in that title game. Some people would be trying to negatively recruit against the Tar Heels as well with Roy Williams' age being the main concern for some recruits.

Williams assures everyone that he is just fine and will be coaching for at least another full recruiting cycle. Williams has told recruits he hopes to coach five to nine more seasons, he said at his end-of-year press conference Tuesday. "I've said I hope I can coach five to nine more years," Williams said about his future Tuesday. "That's what I said in a home (recruiting visit) last week. And so that's all I can say."

UNC won the regular season ACC title as well as the conference tournament title this past season. Williams has been at UNC since 2003 and has won two national titles with the Tar Heels.
