The Florida Gators had a pretty solid season going 21-15 and sophomore Brandone Francis-Ramirez thought he would play a bigger part in it. He only averaged about 11 minutes per game and two points per game. He was a four-star guard coming out of high school and originally committed to coach Billy Donovan in 2014 and redshirted his first season in Gainesville.

He took to Twitter to thank everyone and to let people know that he is going to head out, but he doesn't know where yet.
I thought about it long and hard and I decided that it was best for me to transfer from UF. I'll sincerely miss this school

School is fine. I'm taking a summer class here, continuing to train all summer and take my time to properly choose the best fit for my style

I appreciate and love coach white for supporting my decision and assisting me and my family with the process of finding my next team.

Francis-Ramirez could be a solid combo guard for whoever can get their hands on him. He will have to sit out a year per NCAA transfer rules and will have two years of eligibility remaining. He is the second loss for the Gators after DeVon Walker also decided to transfer.
