This footage of 1930's high school ball is the ultimate throwback Thursday

The Illinois High School Association recently discovered some of the oldest known footage of the game of basketball. It was found in H.V. Porter's summer home who is a former IHSA employee and Basketball Hall of Fame. The films come from the original "March Madness," which was first associated with the Illinois high school state basketball tournament. There were no shot clocks, no three-point lines, and the painted area looked very different. There were possessions that featured 32 passes before throwing up a 40-foot  shot.
