This is a cautionary tale of never celebrating a win too early

Oh. Oh my. Oh that's definitely the worst way to lose a game.

Rhode Island high school basketball might not mean anything to right now, but after you watch this video and hear the story of one Division-III high school team that might change. Chariho and Burrillville met up for the D-III championship and Burrillville thought it had the victory in hand —- so they threw the ball as a celebration like a lot of teams do —- after taking the lead with four seconds left and then breaking up the inbounds pass.

However, that was not the case as Burrillville actually fouled a Chariho player on the pass and so they had another shot at the win. They ran the perfect inbounds pass and got an alley-oop layup to win the game and a championship. Take note kids: never prematurely celebrate or you are bound to get instant karma.
