This Louisville player actually thinks the Cards are better than this ACC heavyweight

There is no basketball team in the country getting more love than the Duke Blue Devils as they just pulled in another five-star recruit in Marques Bolden. They have the top recruiting class in 2016 and have the luxury of returning two starters in Grayson Allen and Amile Jefferson.

That doesn’t seem to be stopping one confident Louisville Cardinal from saying how he really feels about the conference this year. Even with everyone handing it to Duke, Louisville guard Donovan Mitchell would still take his squad over the highly touted Blue Devils as he described in this Instagram post:

I think the message is quite clear. The Cards did get the better of Duke 71-64 at the KFC Yum! Center last season, but UL has lost two of its best players in former grad transfers Damion Lee and Trey Lewis.

Louisville has been ranked in the top 10 and top 15 in a lot of way too early polls so the Cards should be pretty good themselves. Better than Duke though? That seems unlikely.
