Collin Sexton has been one of the hottest names in recruiting over the last year as the 6'3", 175-pound point guard tore up the Nike EYBL circuit over the summer and catapulted himself into ESPN's top 10 rankings. Now he's committing on an ESPNU signing special and has officially chosen his school.

He is heading to Alabama where he becomes the Crimson Tide's highest rated recruit in the class and should be able to contribute right away when he steps on campus next year. He averaged a staggering 31.7 points per game on the EYBL circuit and shot 46 percent from the floor. He also averaged 5.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.3 steals a game as a combo guard.

Sexton's recruitment was widely believed to be down to Alabama, Kansas, N.C. State and Georgia Tech. He said that he loved the job Avery Johnson and his staff did recruiting him and that was why he committed to the Crimson Tide. Johnson has been quietly building up the Alabama program very well after having spent so much time in the NBA as a coach.
