Top 15 player makes surprising commitment to this tiny school

That's a huge surprise in the college basketball world!

Usually when you see a top-15 talent commit anywhere in the world of college basketball you expect to see Kansas, North Carolina, Kentucky, Duke or a number of other schools. A school you don't expect to see is one outside of the Power Five and especially another school in Kentucky that isn't the Wildcats or Louisville.

Mitchell Robinson is a 6'11", 215-pound is considered the No. 15 recruit in the class of 2017 and the No. 4 center. He had offers from SEC hopefuls Alabama and LSU, but decided he was going to go to this Kentucky school.

Rick Stansbury was the head coach at Mississippi State from 1998 to 2012 and took an assistant job at Texas A&M from 2014 to 2016 before taking the WKU job in 2016.
