UNC rallies in second half for second ACC win of the year

No. 7 UNC rallied from a second half deficit to beat Georgia Tech 86-78 for its second ACC win of the year. It was one of the most balanced games the Tar Heels have had this year with six players scoring in double figures and they shot over 50 percent from the field despite only making two shots from beyond the arc.

UNC had nine more rebounds than GT and hit some clutch shots late in the game to stay unbeaten in conference play and at home. Joel James had 11 points in the place of Kennedy Meeks who was still out with an injury, Brice Johnson had 15 points and 11 boards, Justin Jackson had 10 points, Marcus Paige had 13 points, Joel Berry led UNC with 19 points, and Isaiah Hicks had 12 points off the bench.
