UNC survives Boston College and Roy Williams scare

That was a little too close for comfort.

No. 9 UNC (20-4, 9-2) survived a pretty nasty scare from Boston College (7-17, 0-11) and from the Tar Heels' own coach Roy Williams. Williams went down on the sideline as a result of vertigo-like symptoms —- he's had bouts of this before —- and had to be taken to the locker room. The Tar Heels prevailed 68-65 to stay atop the ACC and keep the Eagles winless in the conference.

UNC was led by Justin Jackson off the bench with 20 points followed by Marcus Paige with 12 and Joel Berry with 10. The Tar Heels kept BC to 41 percent shooting and forced them into 14 turnovers. UNC next plays Pittsburgh on Sunday.
