No. 8 North Carolina (24-6, 13-4) hosted Syracuse (19-11, 9-8) on Senior Night and those were exactly the guys who helped the team get a bounceback win. North Carolina survived the game just long enough to come out with a 75-70 win and can head into the final matchup with Duke next weekend confidently.
Brice Johnson had another double-double on the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds, which led the Tar Heels in both categories. He got help from three guys who scored 10 points apiece in Kennedy Meeks, Justin Jackson and Isaiah Hicks. Joel Berry led the bench squad with 13 points. UNC finished the season against Duke in Durham on Saturday in what should be another potential game of the year scenario.
