No. 2 North Carolina (19-2, 8-0) took care of business against Boston College (7-14, 0-8) in Chapel Hill on Saturday. The Tar Heels got out to a 41-30 halftime lead and extended it to an 89-62 win. UNC shot about 54 percent from the floor and kept BC to about 44 percent.
Brice Johnson led the Tar Heels with a 19-point, 11-rebound performance and got some help from Joel Berry who had 13 points and Marcus Paige who had 12. UNC only had 11 turnovers and forced 23 from the Golden Eagles with 12 of them being steals. UNC next plays at Louisville on Monday.
