North Carolina got the season off to a good start with a 95-75 win against Tulane in New Orleans on Friday. What’s better is that the guy who could make or break the season for the Tar Heels had a great game. Justin Jackson set a new career-high with 27 points and also chipped in four assists and a rebound.
Joel Berry was the second-leading scorer with 23 points and also had six boards to go with four assists and two steals. Tony Bradley and Isaiah Hicks also scored in double figures with 10 and 16 points, respectively. The team had 23 assists on 34 made shots and made 45 percent of its three-point attempts.
