Undrafted Wildcat finds home in the NBA

Now everyone who declared has a team.

There were several Kentucky Wildcats who declared for this past June's NBA Draft like Jamal Murray, Skal Labissiere, Tyler Ulis and Alex Poythress. Those first three names were called during the draft, but Poythress had to do a little extra work to get a contract. Poythress played in the NBA Summer League and it looks like there was one team who liked him enough to give him a shot this season.

Poythress has been given a partially guaranteed contract with the assumption that he will play for the D-League affiliate of the Pacers, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Poythress missed most of the 2014-15 season with a torn ACL, but came back for his senior season to average 10 points and six rebounds a game.
