USC player ejected after a below the belt hit on unsuspecting opponent

That's just a dirty play.

USC's Chimezie Metu has been enjoying a pretty good year that has seen him jump into the first round of many mock drafts. However, his most recent decision during a game might cost him that spot and some games. He went for a real cheap shot during the first half of USC's game against Washington State as he hit a jump shooter below the belt and was ejected.

Metu was given a Flagrant-2 for that hit and there is potential for more discipline from his coach if not the conference. Metu was averaging 18.6 points and 8.1 rebounds a game before his early ejection on New Year's Eve.
