Kentucky Fans Warned About Mark Stoops

The Wildcats could lose another legendary coach. With the college football season officially over, It makes one ponder what the future holds for Kentucky Football head coach Mark Stoops. After nearly leaving the University last season, Andrew Stefaniak of Sports Illustrated believes that could actually come to pasture in 2025.

"The question now for Kentucky fans is, could Coach Stoops take another job after the 2024 season? It is clear that Coach Stoops would be interested in taking another job if the right one came around," Stefaniak writes.

"If Coach Stoops were to leave, it would be a big blow to the Kentucky football program. Some Kentucky fans aren't big fans of Coach Stoops, but he has taken the Kentucky football program from the bottom of the SEC to a team that is playing in a Bowl Game nearly every season."

Stoops has flirted with the idea of going back to lead another powerhouse program. He was very close to leaving Kentucky to join Texas A&M, but there was a lot of backlash over the possible decision which led Stoops and the Wildcats to change course.
